We are pleased to celebrate the arrival of squash in October. These versatile vegetables are delicious in both sweet and savory recipes. Butternut squash, delicata squash, acorn squash and pumpkin are just a few of our favorites. There are countless varieties of winter squash – so many we can’t name them all here. The good news is that our recipe programs for butternut and acorn squash are interchangeable for nearly any variety of winter squash. If you have a variety you can’t find on Brava’s touchscreen, use butternut or acorn squash programs instead! While winter squash guides our menu this month, there are so many other fall ingredients available (Brussels sprouts, potatoes, cauliflower, mushrooms) that we included a few recipes featuring those, too.
